Therefore I exhort first of all that supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks be made of all men, for kings and all who are in authority, that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and reverence. 1 Timothy 2:1,2

Let us pray together

In the name of the Father, Son and Holy Spirit. Loving Father, one in Spirit, we pray for America. We submit America at your Holy feet. A million thanks for the immense blessings you have poured on our land. We are grateful for all that you have given us. We pray for the leaders and those in authority in the country, states, cities and towns. Let they eyes of their heart be enlightened so that they may know you as the one true Lord. Glorious Father give them the spirit of wisdom and revelation so that they may know you better. As You did Solomon, give each one the discerning heart to govern your people and to distinguish between right and wrong. Lord Jesus bless and protect their families, their house holds and everything about them by your name and your blood.

If my people who are called by My name will humble themselves, and pray and seek My face, turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land. 2 Chronicles 7:14

We intercede on behalf of all the people. We confess the sins of all those in the land, including myself and my household, have committed against You. Our sins are plenty. We have acted wickedly against You. Do not hold it against us. Please forgive us our sins. Hear our cry and help us to overcome our sins. Do not withhold your tender mercies from us, Oh Lord; let your loving kindness and your truth continually preserve us.

Create in me a pure heart, O God, and renew a steadfast spirit with in me - Psalm 51:10.

Lord Jesus, we cannot do it ourselves. We humbly surrender all our plans and thoughts to Your holy feet. We submit ourselves to you - mind, body and soul! Help us remain under Your Holy will. Direct our hearts into your love. Fill us with your Holy Spirit in overflowing capacity that we do nothing but your will at all times. Make us a blessing to each other. Dear Holy Spirit, bless the land and the people abundantly with all heavenly and earthly blessings.

Master, bless each and every single member of the American troops. Lead them, guard them, guide them, and protect them form all evil. Wherever they are Jesus, help them walk with you daily. Bless them and their families; fill them with your peace and joy that lasts forever. Take away their fears, pain and agony and fulfill every single heavenly and earthly need that they have.

Behold, I give you the authority to trample on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing shall by any means hurt you - Luke 10:29
